Lloyd Waynne Widener was born October 8, 1939 and died September 20, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah after a short illness. He and his wife have resided in Richmond Hill since 1966. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a driver for Chevron Oil in Savannah for 16 ½ years and a driver for GA-Pacific for 17 ½ before retiring in Dec. 2003. He used the CB handle Hillshaker. He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd William and Lucy Mae Parker Widener and a sister Mary Ellen Widener. Survivors include his wife Mary Ellizabeth Sellers Widener; daughters Janet Lorraine Owens (David), Lori Anne Widener, son Jason Michael Widener (Ginnifer); two brothers, Wallis Widener (Margaret) and Billy Widener; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several neices and nephews.
