Harriet E. Blanchard

Ludowici Harriet Blanchard, 63, of Ludowici, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at St. Joseph’s after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Long County. She was preceded in death by her parents Rubin Brinson and Ruth Emma Gooding Brinson. Survived by her son Tony Blanchard of Plains, Ga.; Two brothers Harold Brinson of Midway, Ga. and Wayne Brinson of Iowa; three half sisters, Dorothy Pettie, Betty Parkins, and Ann Smith all of Iowa; Grandsons Richie, Dakota, and Jacob; granddaughter Kendall; two great grandchildren Cadon and Noah; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday, June 11, 2012 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel and the service will be Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m also at Carter Funeral Home with Rev. J.C. Wright officiating.
