Midway Laura Diane McClanahan AKA Dee Dee Baxter, 48, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at her home. She has been a resident of Midway for the past 15 years coming from Anniston, Alabama. Laura is survived by her husband, Richard McClanahan of Midway; three sons, Scotty Miller of Anninston, Alabama, Ross McClanahan of Midway, and Albert McClanahan of Midway; two daughters, Ashley Miller of Annniston, Alabama and Jessica Miller of Midway; her father, Gary Baxter of Alabama; her mother, Diane Stubbs of Weaver, Alabama; a brother, Keith Baxter of Jacksonville, NC; and four grandchildren.
