Midway Alfred Pete “PopPop” Peterson, 73, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Nancy “Nanny” Peterson; two daughters, Rachel Peterson and Mary Ellen Peterson; a son, Paul Mazur of Hampton, GA; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Peterson of California. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.
