Jesse Clarence Vause, Jr.

Midway Jesse C. Vause, Jr., 86, died Friday, October 14, 2016, at home surrounded by his family. He lived in Midway for the past 40 years and was a Baptist.  He was a veteran of the Army, Navy, and Merchant Marines.  He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joyce Vause; brother, Charles T. Vause of Honolulu, HI; and a niece, Debra Schleichkorn of Apopka, FL. His ashes will be scattered at sea. Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
