Margaret Hamilton

Margaret Ann Taylor Hamilton, 97, passed away Friday, January 25, 2019, at Woodlands Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Hamilton lived in Savannah before moving to Midway in 1979 where she was an active member of Fleming Baptist Church.  She was a hairdresser and a very crafty person.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Thelbert L. Hamilton, a grandson, Ryan Hamilton, and great-granddaughter, Ava Rose Phillips. 

She is survived by her son and daughter, Bert Hamilton, of Midway, and Sharon Hamilton Cela (Mark) of Newington; five grandchildren, Catherine Ojo, Elizabeth Phillips, Danielle Cela, Brittany Hamilton, and Travis Hamilton; four great-grandchildren, Sandy Hamilton, Lucy Hamilton, Delylah Phillips, and Macay Moody; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in Dorchester Cemetery.
