Albert Leon Brown

Albert Leon Brown, 84, passed away at Cedar Plantation in Metter Sunday, December 30, 2018, surrounded by his family.

A lifelong resident of Hinesville, he was retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years of service and was a veteran of the United States Army.  He was a member of St. Stephen First Martyr Catholic Church.

He is survived by his nephews, Danny Brown (Jeannie) of Nevils, and D.A. Brown of Rincon; nieces, Marie May (Willie) of Naceda, WI, Faye Smith (Smitty) of North Carolina, and Linda Brown of California; and sister-in-law, Naomi Brown of Naceda, WI.

Visitation will be 10-11 am, Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  Funeral will follow at 11 am.  Burial will be in Hinesville Cemetery.
