Patricia Sallette

Patricia (Patsy) Youmans Sallette passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 at home with her loving husband by her side. Patsy was born in Garden City, attended Chatham County Schools and graduated from Commercial High School in 1957. In August of 1957 she married her high school sweetheart, Mitchell (Mickey) Sallette. She worked several jobs and retired from AETNA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Levy and Fannie Mae Youmans; her sister Mary Dotson; and one grandson.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Mickey Sallette; three sons, Michael (Patricia Bragg) Sallette, Robert (Margie) Sallette, and Evan Sallette; five grandchildren, Terry and Tyler Sallette, Paul (Bubba) Bragg, Chadia Abou-Thiab and Aaron Burke; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Hicks and Francis Seckinger; and one brother, L.G. Youmans, Jr. (Buck).

Funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West in Savannah. In lieu of flowers remembrances can be made to Hospice Savannah P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
