Gloria Ann Lairamore

On October 16, 2018, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Gloria Ann Reese Lairamore departed this earthly world to be home.  A native of Mulberry, Arkansas, she was a resident of Hinesville for more than 32 years.

On May 21, 1965, she married Ron Lairamore in Mountainburg, Arkansas.  From this union she blessed him with four children:  Ron, Jr. (Hotrod), Sidney Bryon, Kyle Daniel, and Bianca.  She was a proud member of the Hinesville Police Department where she trained many crossing guards who helped children get to school safely.  She will be dearly missed but she has left a legacy in her spirit of kindness and graciousness. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Flora and Curly Smith and Hersheal Reese, and brother, Hersheal Reese. 

She leaved behind her loving husband of 53 years, Ron Lairamore of Hinesville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Beth Lairamore of Ludowici and their children, Holly, Bradley and Joshua; son and daughter-in-law, Bryon and Sherry Lairamore of Sunbury and their children, Collin and Carlee; son and daughter in law, Kyle and Suzanne Lairamore of Walthourville and their children, Tyler and Cameron; daughter, Bianca Lairamore Fox of Hinesville and her children, Kaitlyn, Logan, and Jacob; one great-granddaughter, Aliyah Marie; siblings, Rodney Smith, Frances Young, Melissa Alvarette, Stella Jo Dominquez, Delpha Ward, Gary Smith, Brenda Ward, and Sarah Cates; and numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 7 pm in the chapel.
