Janice Ackman, 66, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah.
She was a resident of Liberty County for the past 35 years. She enjoyed RVing, fishing, gardening, spending time with her family, and driving her corvette.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert Ackman; two children, Jennifer LeFevre (Brent) and Chad Ackman (Kelli) of Hinesville; two grandchildren, Alexzander LeFevre and Kaylee Ackman; two sisters, Tami Misdom of Front Royal, VA, and Debbie Pinkham of Clarksville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel, with burial to follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
