Deborah Ann Yarbrough

Deborah A. Yarbrough, 64, passed away at home Sunday, August 12, 2018, surrounded by her family.

A resident of Hinesville for most of her life, she was a member of Rye Patch Baptist Church and was retired from civil service at Fort Stewart.  She loved animals, plants, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert Yarbrough; children, Leigh Ann Alexander of Glennville and Lamar Yarbrough (Nyoda) of Hinesville; step-brother, Greg McCormick of Texas; six grandchildren, Heather Alexander, Christopher Alexander, Deborah Alexander, Brandon Collins, Joseph Yarbrough, and Ashleigh Price; one great-grandchild, Braden Wells; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  Funeral services will begin at 2 pm, Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Elim Baptist Church.  Mrs. Yarbrough will lie in state for one-half hour prior to the service.
