Margaret Diane Crosby

Margaret Diane Bashlor Crosby, 73, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.

She lived all her life in Richmond Hill and retired from Bryan County Board of Education.  She enjoyed fishing, planting flowers, and Bingo.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Dana Denise Crosby Parker; her parents, Lucille and Herbert LaVan Bashlor, Sr.; and her sister, Thetis Bashlor Davis Kent.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Leonard Crosby; son, James Michael Crosby (Renae); grandchildren, Michael LaVan Crosby (Kelli); Jade Crosby Strickland (Richard); and Christina Crosby Kangeter (Jordan); great-grandchildren, Case Raybon Kangeter and Gavin Cole Strickland; two brothers, Herbert LaVan Bashlor (Linda) and Gary Bashlor (Tonya); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11 am on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial following in Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.
