Peggy Jeanne Priest Neely

Peggy Neely, 51, passed away suddenly Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at home. 

The Ft. Lauderdale, FL, native lived in Hinesville for the past 23 years.  She worked at the YMCA for 10 years and loved working with the kids.  For the past 4 years, she worked at the Hinesville Lowe’s.  Peggy enjoyed going to the beach, walking, and gardening.  She also enjoyed attending her children’s sporting events throughout the years, spending quality time with family and friends, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Priest.

Survivors include her children, Caitlynn Neely, Courtney Neely, and Parker Neely, all of Hinesville; mother, Judy Priest of Plantation, FL; sisters, Debbie Collins of Gilbert, AZ, and Tricia Touchstone of Summerville, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  The funeral service will follow at 7 pm in the chapel. 

The family suggests contributions be made for Peggy’s final expenses in lieu of flowers.
