Sandra Kaye Rogers

Sandy McCarty Rogers, 58, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at home surrounded by her family. 

The lifelong resident of Hinesville enjoyed crocheting, going to the beach, and spending time on Facebook.  She delighted in keeping the family history, gardening and collecting rocks.  Sandy’s faith was strong and she had salvation in God.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, S.E. and Joan McCarty; brothers, Edward, Bobby, and Shawn McCarty; sisters, Donna Williams and Little Jo. 

She is survived by her husband, Cecil Hammock; daughter, Marcie Rinehart, grandson, Donovan McEvoy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon Norman and Bob and Kathy Lynn Folmar and Randy; brother and sister-in-law, Timothy Lee McCarty; nieces, Kristian Williams and Dawn Marie Keys (James); nephew, Jeremy Daniel Altman; and several other family members.

Visitation will be 7-8 pm, Friday, May 5, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  Graveside services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Hinesville Cemetery.
