Richmond Hill
Jimmie F. Miles (Jack), 87, passed away Wednesday, May 03, 2017, at St. Joseph Hospital after a short illness surrounded by his family.
He was a native of Alma and lived most of his life in Richmond Hill. He was a member of Richmond Hill First Baptist Church, a mason and retired from Union Camp after 41 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Geneva Miles and grandson-in-law, Scott Price.
He is survived by his children Brenda J. Rushing (W.L. Rushing, Jr.) of Richmond Hill and Beverly J. Davis (Jerome) of Richmond Hill. Grandchildren Frank Rushing (Michelle), Sandi L. Lowe (Ron), Mattie K. Davis and Brynn Davis Huggins (Tony); 4 great-grandchildren and several other family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial to follow in Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.
