Freda Ribaczonok Shorke, age 72, of Richmond Hill, GA passed away on February 26, 2017, surrounded by her loving daughters and under the compassionate care of Hospice Care of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph F. Shorke, Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Freda is survived by her sister Mary McLaughlin, her daughters and their husbands, Debra and Phil Davis, Linda and Matt Gostomski, Barbara and Josh Baucum, by her grandchildren Amanda, Rebecca, Blaise, Soleil and William, and by her nieces and nephews Alice, Marusia and Johnny.

Freda traveled the world and shared her infectious laughter and unique personality with all whom she encountered. “I got to see countries and sights most people never get to see and meet people with different language, cultures and customs.”

Freda requested a private funeral with her immediate family and will be interred at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Pennsylvania, resting at peace with her husband. There will be a celebration of her life at her home in Richmond Hill.  Freda lived her life to the fullest. Say not in grief that she is no more, but live in thankfulness that she was.
