Helen M. Hodges

Helen Hodges, 74, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, surrounded by her family.

A native of El Paso, Texas, she lived in Hinesville for the past 21 years.  She was a member of St. Stephen First Martyr Catholic Church and a veteran of the United States Navy.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, and crafting. 

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Milton Hodges; 2 daughters, Susan Hodges Kuhn (Edward) of Longwood, FL, and Sandra Hodges Grimm (William) of Mansfield, TX; 4 grandchildren, Michael “Toby”Pheil, Peyton Grimm, Chloe Kuhn and Michele Kuhn; 2 great-grandchildren, Zoe and Evie Pheil; a sister, Juanita McClellan; and an aunt, Ellie Garcia.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 12, 2017, at St. Stephen First Martyr Catholic Church.
