Hendersonville, NC
Wilma McBee Hodges, 91, died Friday, July 1, 2016, at her residence in the care of Four Seasons House Hospice.
Mrs. Hodges had lived in the Hendersonville area since 1991. Prior to that, she lived on Hilton Head Island, SC, for 40 years. She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church in Dana, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, W.A. “Pat” Hodges.
Survivors include her children, James Edward Hodges (Phyllis) of Reedsville, WV, Dennis Hodges (Ella) of Dana, NC, and Grace H. Rhodes of Dana; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11 am on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Elim Baptist Church Cemetery.
