Shirlene L. Bryant

Shirlene L. Bryant, 78, died Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Bryant was a resident of Midway for 38 years and was a member of the Coastal Lions Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bryant; parents, Roy and Lorene Lovelace; and a brother, Larry Lovelace.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Tuten (Dale) of Midway; sons, Kenneth Bryant (Ernestine) of Townsend and Richard Bryant (Patty) of Orange Park, FL; three sisters, Joyce Lashley of Marietta, Clarice Zeana and Brenda Lovelace both of Dadeville, AL; two brothers, Roy D. Lovelace of Lafayette, AL, and Michael Lovelace of Opelika, AL; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 pm, Wednesday, April 27, 2016, in Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery.
