Elizabeth Harden

Elizabeth "Libby" Harden,66, of Port Wentworth, GA died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at home surrounded by her family after an extended illness. She has been a resident of Port Wentworth for the past 50 years. She loved working with kids and retired from Gould Elementary. She was also a member of Savannah First Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Libby is preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Harden. Survivors include a son, Anthony "Tony" Harden (Meredith) of Wilmington Island; two daughters, Audrey Blair (John) of Port Wentworth and Amy Crosby (Blake) of Ridgeland, SC; sisters, Denise Bazemore (Larry) of Garden City and Colleen Thompson (Vince) of Port Wentworth; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, January 21, 2013 from 5 - 7 pm at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 2 pm at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel in Richmond Hill with Elder Jimmy Stripling and Elder Jimmy Giddens officiating with burial following in the Bryan Neck Presbyterian Cemetery.
