SSG Albert Ray Spencer (U.S. Army, Retired), 79, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Hospice House of Savannah surrounded by his family.
Albert was born on February 10, 1943 in Ventura, CA. After retiring from the U.S. Army, he went on to work as a truck driver. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed deep sea fishing and swimming.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy.
He is survived by his two daughters, Bridgett Spencer and Kristin Williams and her husband, Louis Dean; four grandchildren, Kavonne Smith, Kaylee Smith, Haley Spencer, and Matthew Williams; and many extended family members.
Memorial services with Full Military Honors will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
