Angela "Becky" Mitchell

Angela “Becky” Mitchell, 66, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Becky lived most of her life in Hinesville. She was a member of Ludowici Church of God. She loved cooking for family and friends. She enjoyed fishing and tending to her flowers. She was an outgoing person. To Becky, no one was a stranger, they were just a friend she had not spoken to yet. She will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Everette E. Mitchell, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and John Dunmeyer, and son, Everette E. Mitchell, Jr.; four grandchildren, Timothy Grajiola, Jr., Haley Grajiola, Maddie Mitchell, and Emory Mitchell; brother, Darwin Kelly; and sister, Norma Gail Puterbaugh.

A “walk-through” visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow in Wells Cemetery in Gumbranch.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seating at the service will be limited. Social distancing will be observed, and the wearing of masks is required.
