Cheryl Ann Harris, 69, passed away Saturday morning on March 22, 2025 at her home after a long Illness surrounded by her family.

Cheryl lived the past 40 years in the Hinesville area. She was a member of Cherokee Rose Country Club, a member of the Eastern Star and the Fort Stewart Bowing League.

Cheryl was proceeded in death by her husband Steven Harris; her parents Willie and Emma Jean Hawkins; two brothers Ronald Hawkins and Author Hawkins.

She is Survived by her loving daughter Tracey Hugo and her son Roger (Chip) Reed; two granddaughters Meagan Hreha and Savannah Hreha (Kat); two great-grandchildren Marvin Abercrombie and Summer Hreha; one sister Clarice Diehl; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday March 27th, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Carter Funeral Home.

Memorial service will follow in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m.

Burial will immediately follow the service in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Carter Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
