Gary Lee Rearley, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at home under the care of his family and Affinis Hospice.
Gary was born and raised in Chillicothe, OH, he lived in Hinesville for forty-three years. He served in the U.S. Army for twenty years and later on at Ft. Stewart as a finance specialist. His true passion was golf. After retirement, he enjoyed working at Cherokee Rose Golf Course for over ten years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Daisy Rearley.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Sung Rearley; brother, Dennis Rearley (Vicki); lovingly remembered by his children, Gary Kedda (Lisa), Andrew Rearley, Debbie Rearley (Wesley); Steven Rearley (Jaime); and Brian Rearley (Adrienne); forever cherished by his grandchildren, Edward, Garrison, and Jeffrey Kedda; Matthew Rearley; Derrick and Melina Mojica; Casey, Katheryn, Caroline, and Charlotte Rearley; and Kamilla and Scarlett Rearley.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with Reverend Deacon Chad Chaffee officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glenville.
