Leon Michael Mizelle, 44, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023.
Leon was born and raised in Hinesville. He attended Liberty County High School and First Baptist Church of Hinesville. He was kind-hearted and a free spirit.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey Stearns; maternal grandmother, Nancy Stearns; and paternal grandparents, Arcie G. and Bessie Leonora Mizelle.
Leon is survived by his four children, Mishai, Trenton, Emalyn, and Tatum; father, David O. Mizelle (Kathy Rodgers); two sisters, Ladonna Mizelle Hutcheson and Heather Mizelle Rabon; stepmother, Rhonda Magyar; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Carter Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Park Cemetery.
