Mary V. Proman, 90, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Bryan County Health and Rehab from natural causes.
Mary lived most of her life in Richmond Hill. She loved to fish, garden, and cook. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Proman; and her grandson, Little Bubba.
Mary is survived by six children, Dorita Casey (Mike), Nina Horne, Elbert Ray, Jim Ray, Doug Ray, and Liz Grizzard (Scott Stafford); special daughter-in-law, Vikki Ray; nineteen grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Richmond Hill First Baptist Church. Mary’s family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.
