Nancy Boyd

Nancy Boyd, 89, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Nancy taught school for 33 years in Virginia, Maryland, and Chatham County, and for 26 years in Bryan County. She was a member of the State and National Education Associations and the Bryan/Evans Retired Teacher’s Association. She was a member of Richmond Hill Methodist Church.  

She is survived by her four children, Cindy Boyd of Locust Grove, GA, Beth Muse (Billy) of Nahunta, GA, Earl Boyd, Jr., (Ginger) of Tallahassee, Fl, and Stephen Boyd (Angela) of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Billy Reynolds, Jr. (Cathy) of Midway, GA, Wilson Boyd and Sally Boyd of Jacksonville, FL, and Aubrey Boyd and Emerson Boyd of Tallahassee, FL; one great-grandchild, Riley Reynolds of Midway, GA; and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Carter Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Nancy to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
