Ronelva "Ronnie" Smith

Ronelva Smith (Ronnie) gained her wings Sunday Nov 9, 2025. Ronelva was born Sept 22, 1938 in Sandwhich IL. She passed peacefully at home with her family. Ronelva was loved by many and was known as Mom or Grandma to everyone, She was a blessing from God to be around and would light up any room with her smile and giggles. She was greeted by her husband David Smith in heaven and their remains will be rejoined and placed at Shiloh Cemetery, Mt Vernon IL. Ronelva is survived by her children Tina Dennis of Ludowici, GA, Tonja Bryant of Aurora IL, and Donald Bryant of Hinesville, Ga. and her grandchildren and many great grands, Ronelva loved her dog "DeeO'Gee, church, dancing and music. She was extremely family oriented and never met a stranger. Our family would like to extend great thanks to Hospice of GA for their unwavering care, if only for a short time. Special Thanks to her nurses Patricia and Elaina for their encouraging words and actions! They made the experience a beautiful part of life and for that we are grateful! Our family is at peace knowing she is in heaven with God, waiting for us all.
