Rose Bertha West

Mrs. Rose “Bertha” West, 81, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 5, 2021.

Bertha was born on July 17, 1939 in Abbeyville, SC and lived most of her life in Richmond Hill. She enjoyed cooking and was a member of Fleming Baptist Church where she was active in The Ladies Faith Sunday School Class. She was devoted to the church and her family. She will be deeply missed and always loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis West; son, Ronald West; daughter, Rachel West; and grandson, Patrick West.

She is survived by her son, Rodney West (Patricia) of Bloomingdale, GA; two daughters, Rhonda Malick (Dave) and Rolanda Fandrich (Douglas) both of Richmond Hill, GA; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Bertha’s wishes, a private graveside service for immediate family and her friends in The Ladies Faith Sunday School Class will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2021 in Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.
