In Loving Memory of Sheryl Wimmer

February 26, 1962 – September 3, 2026

Sheryl Wimmer of Midway Georgia passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, kindness, faith, and devotion to her family.

Sheryl was born on February 26, 1962, to Joanne Ronberg and Paul Ronberg, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved son, Jarrot Lee Wimmer. While her family’s hearts are heavy with her passing, they find comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her son and is now watching over those she loved so dearly.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Heather Elaine Davis, and son-in-law, Daniel Thomas Davis; her daughter-in-law, Stephanie McClendon; and her cherished grandchildren, Nicky, Evyn, Madison, Piper, Harley, Kaleb, Dylan Davis, Riley Davis, and Jacob Davis. She also adored her grand-fur-babies, Chevy, Oreo, Maggie, and Kitty Kitty. Sheryl is also survived by her sister, Wendy Ronberg of Sherman, California, and niece, Taya; her brother, Steve, and nephews, Joey and Chris; as well as her dear friend, Crystal.

A high school graduate, Sheryl proudly served in the United States Army and continued her education, earning degrees in X-ray technology and accounting. Her accomplishments reflected her strength, determination, and dedication throughout her life.

Above all else, Sheryl’s greatest blessings were her children and family. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren and found so much happiness simply being surrounded by the people she loved. Some of her favorite memories were made near the water—whether at the beach, by the river, riding on the boat, or fishing. As a Pisces, just like her daughter, she had a special love for being around and in the water. 

Sheryl enjoyed going to the library, crocheting, burning candles, and spending special days shopping with her daughter. She loved the color purple, dolphins, Garfield, and cats. These simple joys were all a special part of the woman her family knew and loved.

Most importantly, Sheryl’s love for Jesus was incredibly strong. Her faith was an important part of who she was and remained a source of strength throughout her life. Her family finds peace in knowing that she is now resting in the presence of the Lord.

Sheryl will be remembered as an incredibly kind and giving woman who would do anything for anyone. She was a joy to be around and brought love and warmth to the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

Her absence will be deeply felt, but the love she gave will remain forever. Her family will carry her memory with them at the beach, on the river, during days spent fishing, in quiet moments together, and in all the places where she found joy.

Though Sheryl is no longer here beside us, her family finds comfort in believing she has been reunited with her beloved son, Jarrot, and is watching over them all.

Her greatest blessings were her children, her greatest joy was her family, and her greatest strength was her faith in Jesus. Sheryl will be loved, remembered, and missed forever.
