Thomas Melvin Hickey, 68, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at his home after a long illness.
Tom was born in Murfreesboro, Arkansas to the late Archie M. and Pauline (Price) Hickey. He moved to Liberty County in 1980 when he served in the US Army as a motor transport operator. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Alberta Lee Hickey of Hinesville; his children, Michelle Woodard (Jeff) of Lebanon, Indiana, Tracy Burriss (Karen) of Townsend, Charles Burriss (April) of Hinesville, and David Burriss of Hinesville; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A private memorial service for Tom will be held at a later date.
