Veronica Kay Golston

Veronica Kay Golston passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the Glenvue Nursing Home in Glennville, Georgia, with her loving family by her side.

During her high school years, she enjoyed cheerleading and serving as captain of the cheering squad. She also sang in a band in high school when she was’t cheering. After high school, her love of music continued as she sang in a gospel quartet group for approximately 11 years. She was also known for enjoying cooking for her family and for people around her, expressing her care and hospitality. Veronica was also a devout Christian who loved the Lord and her family.

Veronica is survived by her sisters, Mary Burton, Geraldine Bush, and Mayretta Golston, and her sons, Aliandro Golston, Terrance Golston, and William Golston. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Keairen Mitchell, Hope Huffman, Keshawn McKnight, Kiersten Ritter, Devin Ritter, Jakeira Ritter, Aliandro Golston Jr., and Jayla Golston. 

She was preceded in death by her father, William Golston; her mother, Alma Golston; and her brothers, Gearld Golston and Charles Fields.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 3 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home.
