Wayne McGee, 94, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Bryan County Health & Rehabilitation Nursing Home.
He was a Montgomery, AL native and a graduate of Starke University School, and he attended Auburn University. For seventeen years, he served as the Division Credit Supervisor of American National Stores. He was president and founder of McGee T.V. & Appliance in Hinesville, GA. He was a member of Midway United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Evelyn.
Wayne is survived by three children, William, Joel (wife, Peggy), and Jane (husband, Larry). He was grandfather to eight children and three great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Midway United Methodist cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the American Heart Association or to the Midway United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 91, Midway, Georgia 31320.
