Wilkie Proman

Wilkie Proman, 81, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Wilkie was a lifelong resident of Bryan County. He was a faithful member of Daniel Baptist Church where he served as a past Deacon. He was a self-employed logger. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching westerns.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wallette.

Wilkie is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Hinton Arnsdorff; his son and daughter-in-law, Jerome and Dee Proman; two grandchildren, April and Bradley; three great-grandchildren, Emilie, Christopher, and Austin; two great-great-grandchildren, Avery and Bentley; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.  Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in Daniel Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Alfred Banks officiating.
