William Paschal "Pat" Brewer, age 88, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, Georgia. A devoted Christian, beloved husband, proud U.S. Navy veteran, and hardworking community member, Pat lived a life marked by faith, service, and dedication to both God and others.

Born in Hinesville, Georgia, in 1937, Pat answered the call to serve his country as a Naval aviator. During his distinguished career in the United States Navy, he served with the VW-4 Hurricane Hunters based at NAS Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico, flying into tropical storms and hurricanes to collect critical weather data. He also served aboard the USS Shangri-La with VAW-121, piloting airborne early warning aircraft in support of national defense and reconnaissance missions. His courage and commitment to duty were an enduring source of pride throughout his life.

After his military service, Pat began a second career in the Woods Department at Hercules Inc., where he worked faithfully until his retirement. But his work didn't stop there.

Alongside his wife Judy, Pat also owned and operated Brewer Christmas Tree Farm on the family land in Midway, Georgia, serving customers from Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida for over 40 years. The farm became a beloved tradition for generations of families, who returned year after year not just for the trees— but for the warmth, hospitality, and personal touch Pat and Judy poured into their work.

A faithful member of Midway Methodist Church, Pat lived out his Christian values in every area of his life. He was known for his humility, quiet strength, and deep devotion to his faith, family, and community.

Pat is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Judy Brewer; his sons Bill (Sharell) Brewer, Scott (Eva) Brewer, and Chris (Debbie) Brewer; his daughter Lisa (Julie) Jordan, stepson Rick (Gloria) Wood, and stepdaughter Denise (Mike) Beasley. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family who will cherish his memory for years to come.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Sue Brewer; his brother, Earnest Brewer; and his stepdaughter, Celeste Willis.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held on Thursday September 25, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Midway Methodist Church.

The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Hospice of the Golden Isles for their care and support during Pat's final days.

Pat's life was a testament to faith, hard work, and quiet generosity. He touched the lives of many through his steady presence, gentle humor, and unwavering belief in doing what was right. Though he will be dearly missed, his spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." - Matthew 25:23
